Hurricane Canopy Removal and Reinstallation Services in Punta Gorda, Florida

Critical Reminder:

Your boat lift canopy MUST be removed if winds exceed 70 MPH to prevent damage.

Hurricane Removal Process:

• • Initiation: We will start our removal list when a named hurricane is projected to approach Punta Gorda. No deposit is necessary to be added to the list.
  • Unpredictable Weather: Hurricanes can change direction, weaken, or intensify unexpectedly. Therefore, it is your responsibility to decide when you want your canopy removed. Stay informed about the weather and contact our team if you decide on removal.
  • Efforts and Limitations: Coastline Boatlift Covers will work diligently to remove as many covers as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the removal of all tops. Our team, including the owner, will be out removing covers as long as it is safe, provided we have access to fuel and our staff has not been evacuated.

DIY Canopy Removal Instructions:

If you opt to remove your canopy yourself, follow these steps:

1. 1. Start in the middle and accordion fold from the back to the center.
   2. Then, accordion fold from the front to the center.
   3. Once folded, roll it up starting from the offshore side (the side furthest from the seawall).
